Applegate’s Beecher Lecture
Debby Applegate visited Boston last fall to present her lecture, “Henry Ward Beecher and Three Things Never to be Discussed in Polite Company: Religion, Sex, and Politics,” based on her book,The Most Famous Man in America: The Biography of Henry Ward Beecher.
