The Chicago Congregational Club was founded in 1883 by Chicago Congregationalists with a focus on Christian fellowship and spiritual influence in the life of Chicago and the Midwest. This collection primarily contains correspondence, but also includes some minutes, programs, by-laws, and membership. It is unknown why some, but not all, of these materials came to the Congregational Library in alphabetical order.
