A Live Concert with John Tyson, recorder, Miyuki Tsurtani, harpsichord, and ensemble

John Tyson teaches at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Recipient of the Bodky International Competition and the Noah Greenberg Award, Tyson has performed around the world, including with major ensembles in Europe and the U.S.

A recognized expert in renaissance music and improvisation, Tyson is director of the improvisational renaissance music and dance ensemble Renaissonics and is music director for the Historical Dance Foundation of New York.

Join us for a live performance where Tyson, Tsurtani and ensemble will transform the Reading Room as they create a memorable interlude for all listeners.
