CCHS Awards
Frederick L. Fagley Award
Established in 1965, this Society's Frederick L. Fagley Awards are given each year to anniversary churches which, in the opinion of the awards committee, create superior programs, printed historical materials, and/or anniversary projects. Qualifying churches are divided into two classes: those with 350 or more members and those with under that number. in 2001, six awards were given.
Nathanael M. Guptill Award
The Nathanael M. Guptill Award, was named for a former President of the Society and inaugurated to recognize institutional histories not eligible for the Fagley Awards (usually because treating more than a single congregation). The 2001 Guptill Award was bestowed on Charles E. Clark and Elizabeth C. Nordbeck (eds.) for Granite and Grace; Essays Celebrating the Two Hundredth Anniversary of the New Hampshire Conference United Church of Christ.
